The Preschool Program of Congregation Shomrei Emunah is committed to fostering the social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth of young children in a nurturing and creative setting. We believe that learning takes place best in a stimulating environment where children are able to establish a true sense of mastery and autonomy through an integrated curriculum incorporating process-oriented activities and open play.
We recognize that children are individuals who grow at their own pace, and acknowledge their individual accomplishments. The Preschool Program of Congregation Shomrei Emunah provides an atmosphere that promotes a positive sense of self, caring relationships with others, and an understanding of our responsibilities to each other as part of a larger community.
As a Jewish program, we are dedicated to giving our children positive Jewish identity through a curriculum that incorporates learning about Jewish traditions, holidays and values. By teaching young children to be confident explorers and learners, we can best prepare them for their future.
